Road Trip to Nashville
We must be crazy. We’re on our first family road trip. Driving to Tennessee with two children under the age of 2 is probably not the smartest idea that we’ve ever had. But, the Engstroms did it, too – so we are not alone in our craziness/stupidity.

Malachi and Evie actually did pretty well in the car – thank you iPhone and Nemo for your help.
The highlight of the drive up to Nashville was our stop in Memphis at Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken. Halim loves fried chicken – I mean, loves it. Stew introduced him to this little hole-in-the-wall when he was last in Memphis, so he had to come back. Malachi didn’t care too much about the fried chicken, but was a big fan of the juke box.

Onto Nashville – I really like this city. We didn’t see a ton of it, but really enjoyed the parts we did see, and the few things that we got to do. Including Malachi eating his first banana split.

We drove all this way for the Together for Adoption conference. More to come about that. Road trip home back to Texas tomorrow.
