Yes, these are actually people’s last names.  My good friend, Aki Frankenberger, married Shawn Slockers last night out at Hamilton Twelve.  Aki is half Japanese (from her mom) and half German (from her dad) and she married Shawn whose parents are Dutch.  Lots of great accents at this shindig, with family and friends flying in from all over the globe.  Aki’s dad performed a very sweet ceremony outside on the patio.  We didn’t get to stick around for too long because we took the little guy and, well, he can only take so much celebrating. . . but here are a few pics from the night.

The Suh family – as dressed up as we get – taking a self-picture prior to leaving the house.  Malachi didn’t quite understand the looking at the camera part . . .

Me and the bride!  This is my only maternity dress – so if you have seen me at a wedding during any stage of pregnancy, then this is what I was wearing.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Slockers!

  1. Hi Angela! I kept looking at your recent photos with the bride and was trying to figure out how I would know her…this is crazy, but I dance with her for a few years growing up!!! She is beautiful and I can’t believe you guys know her. I would love for you to tell her hello for me…and my maiden name was McMeans :) that’s how she would know me. Blessings, Angela!
